Elvin Joseph Sanico was one of the best professors I was privileged to have at the UP National Institute of Physics in Diliman. His use of the continuity equation for steady one-dimensional flow to prove the "silent waters run deep" axiom was really cool!

Monday, Apr 9, 2007, 8:45 PMI drove everyone to Irosin in Ed's van from 5:45 AM to 6:45 AM. After a quick breakfast, Ed drove us to Donsol from 7:00 AM to 10:00 AM.
Our butanding interaction ran from 10:00 AM to 3:30 PM. We sighted 10 whale sharks. Magie, the kids and I swam with the butandings in 2005. It's now Ed, Marina, and Keith's turn. They interacted with 8. Tita Lina and Tito Nono took turns diving from their boat, while Lola Miling and Tita Vangie watched from the deck.
I drove the van back to Irosin from 3:30 PM to 6:00 PM and we had a relaxing dip at the San Benon hot springs from 7:30 PM to 8:45 PM. We traveled a total of 261 kilometers today.
