Elvin Joseph Sanico was one of the best professors I was privileged to have at the UP National Institute of Physics in Diliman. His use of the continuity equation for steady one-dimensional flow to prove the "silent waters run deep" axiom was really cool!

Saturday, Apr 7, 2007, 6:00 PMWe left for Bicol at 9:00 PM yesterday. It was a convoy of two. Tita Lina, Lola Miling, and Tita Vangie were in their brand new 1.8 Honda Civic. I was with Magie, Psylocke, Phoenix, Eddie, Marina, and Keith on Ed's 1.6 Mitsubishi van, which I drove for 368 kilometers from Valle Verde 3, Pasig to Daet, Camarines Norte. Ed took over at 4:00 AM. We reached Caditaan, Sorsogon at 10:00 AM. Tita Lina drove the entire 656 kilometers without relief! To cool down before dinner, we relaxed at the Pampang from 4:30 PM to 6:00 PM. Magie took some great photos with her new Olympus SP-510UZ.
