For the first time since Magie left for Indonesia, I felt her absence. She was not beside me to hold my hand in prayer. Suddenly, the loneliness I've held in check for a week washed over me. All the IM, SMS, and e-mail messages that have kept it at bay for 7 days crumbled at its onslaught.

But God is good. He called out to me in a song, mighty and reassuring.
