Richard Keech, RHCE, RHCX conducted my RHCE, RHCI, and RHCX training & certification in his capacity as Red Hat Asia-Pacific's Chief Instructor. Before we parted ways, he congratulated me for becoming the first Filipino RHCX. I told him that I was trained by the best.

Open for Business
Saturday, Jul 15, 2006, 11:00 PMBluepoint's Open for Business conference is finally over. We were able to raise funds for at least two TULAY batches.
Many thanks to everyone who attended the event. We really appreciate your continued support! Special thanks to Sen. Jovito Salonga, Iya Yotoko, Wowie Wong, Liane Tablante, and Gretchen Casimiro for joining us this morning, and to Maj, Eddie, Irene, Joy, and RJ for taking care of things during the event.
Congratulations to Mark Mayo, William Yu, Ryan Baclit, and Vip Malixi for successfully delivering their respective topics even though Murphy's Law seemed to be in effect all day. I just hope that I did justice to my topic, "Xen Enterprise Grade Virtualization" - I had to do a Barry Allen so that Bluepoint won't have to pay Richmonde double the function room rental rates for going overtime.
Finally, many thanks to Rene Enriquez - this event wouldn't have been possible without your help. Maraming salamat!
All in all, the event turned out pretty well. My only regret is that a lot of good food (and money) was wasted due to people who registered but did not show up. Instead of footing the bill for the no-shows, Bluepoint could have used the money to beef up the TULAY project fund instead. Oh well...
Thanks again to everyone who took part in Open for Business!
