Elvin Joseph Sanico was one of the best professors I was privileged to have at the UP National Institute of Physics in Diliman. His use of the continuity equation for steady one-dimensional flow to prove the "silent waters run deep" axiom was really cool!

After almost 13 years of high-RPM use, it was time to replace our car's clutch. Pulling down the transmission, cleaning it, and replacing the gear oil and clutch components ran from 2:00 PM to 5:56 PM. A stock replacement for Daihatsu Charade was no longer available from the aftermarket shops, so we installed a compatible single plate Daikin racing clutch from Exedy instead.
