Richard Keech, RHCE, RHCX conducted my RHCE, RHCI, and RHCX training & certification in his capacity as Red Hat Asia-Pacific's Chief Instructor. Before we parted ways, he congratulated me for becoming the first Filipino RHCX. I told him that I was trained by the best.

Power from the Graveyard
Monday, Apr 18, 2005, 7:00 PM
I spent this afternoon in the Graveyard, the small room at Bluepoint where we salvage parts from old donated computers for Lalainya. Among my interesting finds from Rene Enriquez's donations were a DEC Server 200/MC and a Timeplex Switching Microplexer SM852. The DEC Server's CPU was dead and the Multiplexer was missing a critical daughtercard, but both machines had mint condition power supplies. After some tests, I found out that these yielded extremely clean power! With a few modifications, these power supplies can be resurrected for professional audio applications
