Guro is a web-based courseware builder based on PHP and MySQL that we are developing on an as-time-permits basis. With it, teachers, trainers, and others who want to share their knowledge can easily develop accessible courses (complete with exams) for their students. Companies can also create customized training programs for their staff. Guro makes this possible via a very user-friendly and flexible interface. The base system is Open Source and new features can be added via phpBB-style MODS. My new telecommuting arrangement with Bluepoint will hopefully allow me to help step up development.
